So off to Hong Kong we trouped with a cake all covered in yummmmmy choc fondant and all the flowers and bits all pre-done and sitting pretty in a tupperware.
The security guard at Singapore airport seriously thot he had seen it all when he realised we were carrying a CAKE by hand - let me tell you it was worth it just to see K's reaction to it.
I decided to use K's birthday as fodder for experimentation, and did a fantasy garden theme.
I think it worked wonderfully, other than the fact that the humidity made the cake melt so quick, which is why the flowers look real sticky in the photos - the cake was choc chilli - hot and sweet just like K ;)
